iWork 11′ Ready, Waiting for Mac App Store

It appears that iWork 11′ has been ready for sale for about a month now. It was originally scheduled to launch at the same time as iLife 11′ but has been postponed. Apple is now waiting for the launch of its Mac App Store to make this software available and will offer it via direct download. It is not yet known if the software will also be offered in a physical CD form.

The three iWork applications (Pages, Keynote, and Numbers) are still set to be sold individually at a cost of $19.99 each, still placing the total cost of the iWork suite well below its current bundle price of $79 (and with the option for installation on all your personal computers).

  1. I heard it’s most likely going to launch next year, June sometime.

  2. maybe the launch day hype would lead 2 higher sales of the apps

  3. I really hope they release it simultaneously with the Mac App Store, an update is long overdue.
