“TurboWeb” Brings Fast Web Browsing
At first glance I wondered how often I would use the TurboWeb app. I installed this 0.2 MB app and let it sit in my dock for a few hours. After periodically launched Safari to check a single web page I remembered that this little app may save me some time. I was surprised to see that TurboWeb launched in less than a second and was ready to go without delay. I especially loved how quickly the back button works - virtually instantaneously.
This speed does come at a cost. TurboWeb is a bare bones web browser. Multimedia rich and interactive services may not always work (Hulu, Facebook Chat), favorites are not available, and no tabs are present. TurboWeb is ideal for the quick "launch, read, and close" web surfing.
One last advantage/disadvantage is it's quick search feature. To perform a Google search simply type the phrase in the URL address bar and press enter. The disadvantage? If a web page URL isn't typed in completely TurboWeb may think you are trying to search for the text and direct you to Google.
With a few minor tweaks TurboWeb will be the perfect quick use web browser.

Two days after this review the TurboWeb browser is no longer available in the AppStore. Too bad, wanted to give it a try.
