If you're like me your iTunes library is a little... messy. I always manage to have duplicates of many songs, many of which are hard to track down due to their varying names and lengths. Tune Sweeper helps bring order to chaos by intelligently tracking down duplicates and safely removing them from your music library.

When Tune Sweeper is first launched it automatically tracks down duplicate music files with blazing speed. It then chooses one version to keep and marks the duplicates for removal. After choosing which duplicates to keep simply click on "remove" and instantly clean your library. Afraid of deleting files on accident? Move duplicates to a separate folder and delete them later!

Tune Sweeper also checks for items in your iTunes library that point to missing files. You can now remove those annoying items from your music and video library that point to files that aren't really there. This is very useful for those pesky "file missing" errors when syncing your iPhone or iPod.

Most users will only use this app once or twice a year, but the benefits it brings makes the $4.99 investment well worth the cost.
