Mac OSX Lion Release Date Announced

In a phone conference today Apple CFO Peter Oppenheimer announced that OSX Lion, the latest update to Apple,s operating system, would be released tomorrow, July 20th. Lion will be available as a direct download through the Mac App Store.

This release date was highly anticipated as 3rd party retailers recently received promotional material and Apple retail stores were provided with master copies of the software for in-store updates.
